Live Music Session #84 – Paul Henshaw + Mike Barham

We finally get to welcome Paul Henshaw to The Thursday Night Music Club after last years Covid-Cancellation, and we couldn’t be more excited to bring a performer who strives to make interesting music with songs that are deep and drenched in honesty to youHenshaws songs are written from the heart with life experiences and stories clearly having the biggest influence.

As a songwriter Henshaw’s lyrics have been likened to poetry, painting scenes that take you on a journey to the very place or situation being sung about, from the sad story of a young man who took his own life or going to an Iron Maiden concert with his 76-year-old Nan.Henshaw has shared stages with the likes of Mark Chadwick (The Levellers),
Ferocious Dog, Pigeon Detectives, Newton Faulkner, Tony Wright (Terrorvision), Gary Stringer (Reef) and has played numerous festivals including Glastonbury Festival.

Mike Barham is a Wiltshire based artist who blends rocky influences with an inescapable pop reference. Vocally diverse, from grating bluesy overdrive to ridiculous falsetto sparkle, his music draws influence from artists including City and Colour, Frank Turner, Corey Taylor, Jamie Lenman and beyond.
