We get to welcome Paul Henshaw back to The Thursday Night Music Club after last years brilliant set, and we couldn’t be more excited to bring a performer who strives to make interesting music with songs that are deep and drenched in honesty to you.
Henshaw’s songs are written from the heart with life experiences and stories clearly having the biggest influence.
As a songwriter Henshaw’s lyrics have been likened to poetry, painting scenes that take you on a journey to the very place or situation being sung about, from the sad story of a young man who took his own life or going to an Iron Maiden concert with his 76-year-old Nan.
Henshaw has shared stages with the likes of Mark Chadwick (The Levellers),
Ferocious Dog, Pigeon Detectives, Newton Faulkner, Tony Wright (Terrorvision), Gary Stringer (Reef) and has played numerous festivals including
Support from Heartwork (aka Dan O’Dell) and his stirring emo-folk.
