After the Shuffle excitement and a little summer break from live music over August, we return with a bang on Thursday September 7th with a cracking folk-punk show featuring 2 of the hardest working musicians around.
We are super excited to be hosting 3 sessions of the brilliant Swindon Shuffle music event this year (it’s 11th!!)
The brilliant Oxford duo The August List have long been favorites of Ed’s and he has managed to bag them for a show for us this month – Thursday 22nd June to be precise, from 8.30pm. It is free entry but as always we encourage artist donations.
We are very pleased to be hosting the talents of local singer / songwriter Ali Finneran on Thursday 8th June (yes, election night. Damn government stealing our thunder).

We join the Swindon Festival of Literature
One of the events that most destroys the notion that Swindon is a cultural desert is the Swindon Festival of Literature, an event that for two weeks brings together novelists, poets, scientists, philosophers, politicians, historians, artists, storytellers, singers, adventurers, good writers, and plain speakers to talk, to listen, to think, to drink, and also to laugh.

The first of our live music sessions for April will be on Thursday 13th and feature the marvellous melodies of Jamie R Hawkins. Jamie is a popular and familiar face around the towns music venues and until recently was part of the SoP Live set up, and we are really glad the guys have seen fit to let us host a show for him.
